Trevose Harbour House

We were asked to create a brand new bespoke and responsive website for an award-winning guest house in St Ives.

Trevose Harbour House was renovated and opened 6 years ago, a sympathetic and confident nod to 20th Century Modern, with the addition of all the conveniences and comforts for a seaside retreat. This unique guest house has been well loved, stayed in, written about and awarded accolades by the most exclusive magazine and digital platforms.

The owners Angela and Ollie have a keen eye for aesthetics and are responsible for the look and feel of the guest house and the care and attention they put into making their guest stays memorable for the right reasons.

The previous website was launched at the time of opening 6 years ago, and as technology moved on, browsers changed and the site suffered. It no longer looked and functioned as required so it was in need of a refresh.

Attention was to be given to all areas of the site, with new photography and consideration given to how to deal with the awards and icons which needed to be visible as part of the brand images and the colour blue.

We made functionality improvements: viewable on desktop, tablet and phone, simplified the navigation & improved functionality of the site, which was built to current SEO good practices. We provided a blog page to use as a marketing tool to drive people to book, using the free to book widget to handle booking requests.
