New Craftsman Gallery
The oldest gallery in St Ives
Historically one of the most important spaces for 20th century artists in St Ives, nurturing, in its early days, the reputations of figures such as Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Bryan Winter, Patrick Heron and Peter Lanyon. Today it is the oldest running gallery in St Ives, having opened its doors in 1962 by Janet Leach.
The New Craftsman Gallery shows the very best in contemporary Cornish art, craft, ceramics and jewellery. It has gained an international reputation amongst discerning art and craft collectors.
Meor were asked to rebrand the gallery, from signage to print materials. We also designed a new look custom bespoke website which will be online soon.
For every exhibition, Meor produces catalogues, invites and price lists which are printed at St Austell Printing Company, who are dedicated to sustainable printing and ethical values.
When creating new exhibition catalogues, we work with the artist and adjust the images on screen using industry standard photo editing software. This ensures that the product will print as closely to the original artwork as possible.
